  1. First step is to download the Google Earth installation package:
    $ wget -O ~/google-earth.deb https://dl.google.com/dl/earth/client/current/google-earth-pro-stable_current_amd64.deb
    
  2. Next step is to install the Google Earth package downloaded in the previous step.
    $ sudo dpkg -i ~/google-earth.deb
    
  3. Start the Google Earth application from the Activities menu:

    Alternatively, you can start the Google Earth application simply by executing the below command:
    $ google-earth-pro
