Instructions

Install and start Budgie Desktop

Execute the following linux command to begin installation of Budgie desktop on Ubuntu 18.04:

$ sudo apt install ubuntu-budgie-desktop
Install multiple display managers notice

default display manager for budgie desktop

Any display manager should do. However, lighdm is a default display manager for budgie desktop.



Select desktop Budgie as default

Confirm that Budgie Desktop is your default desktop environment.
