Enable Firefox Adobe Flash on Ubuntu 20.04 step by step instructions



  1. The first step is to install Adobe installer package. Open up your terminal and enter:
    $ sudo apt install flashplugin-installer
    
  2. Restart your Firefox browser by closing and re-opening the application
  3. Next, navigate your browser to the following Adobe Flash player page.
    Run Adobe Flash

    Scroll down to section 5. Verify whether Flash Player is installed and click on Run Adobe Flash text.

  4. allow Adobe flash plugin to run

    Click on Allow to allow Adobe flash plugin to run.

  5. Flash animation

    If all went well you should see a Flash animation.

  6. To check Adobe Flash version installed in your Firefox browser scroll up to section 1. Check if Flash Player is installed on your computer and click on the Check Now button.
