Nokia ports Qt to Maemo 5

NOKIA has created a port for the Qt cross-platform framework to Maemo 5 in a bid to help developers create applications for the N900. Qt is designed to enable programmers to write source code once and have it work across Windows, Mac, Linux/X11, embedded Linux, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Maemo 6 devices. The Qt framework is also the foundation of the K Desktop Envirionment (KDE) used in a number of Linux distributions.
