Download YouTube videos using Linux command clive Sometimes you just want to download YouTube videos and watch them offline or your internet connection speed is not as fast as you would like it to be and constant buffering make your watching experience painful. One way to solve both problems is to use clive Linux command.

First locate a video you want to download from YouTube so you will end up with URL as displayed by your browser. Download YouTube video with clive:

$ clive paste-your-youtube-URL-of-video-to-dowload

Video will be downloaded into your current working directory.
